Safety Should Be Proactive, Not Reactive

AFS Global Defense is built around a belief that communities deserve to know what's in the air around them before a situation becomes an emergency.

Most environmental and chemical response works in the wrong order. A release occurs. Someone notices. Responders arrive and begin to assess. By the time anyone knows what the substance is, how concentrated it is, or how far it has traveled, it has been in the air for as long as that sequence took to run.

The technology to close that gap exists. It is already protecting federal facilities, major metropolitan fire departments, and military units in more than 70 countries. Our work is bringing it to the cities, agencies, and infrastructure operators who do not yet have it.

WHAT WE DO

AFS Global Defense develops and integrates advanced detection, monitoring, and decontamination systems, partnering with proven manufacturers to build specialized capabilities for government, civil, and military authorities.

Two halves of that sentence do different work.

We develop. Our engineering team designed the WatchDog series from the sensors up, with our own R&D and software, for autonomous monitoring of H₂S and CBRN threats in shelters, vessels, and ammunition depots. Three systems we developed carry NATO Support and Procurement Agency stock numbers, including the ADAK 264-09 emergency decontamination kit.

We integrate. Detection hardware is only useful when it reaches the people who act on it. We specify systems for the mission at hand, connect them to the command structures and communications already in place, train the personnel who will carry them, and support them through their service life.

Most organizations in this field do one or the other. Doing both is what lets us solve a problem rather than sell against a specification.

HOW WE WORK

Nobody enters blind. Drone-mounted and remotely operated sensing means the first thing crossing into a hazardous zone is a machine. This is the principle behind our airborne CBRN reconnaissance work and behind our infrastructure inspection programs alike. Different hazards, same logic.

Detection is where response starts, not where it ends. Knowing what a substance is has limited value if nothing follows. Our capabilities carry through analysis, command decision, and immediate decontamination of personnel, equipment, and sites.

Proven, not promising. We work with manufacturers whose systems have operational track records, not roadmaps. Every technology we bring forward is already in service somewhere that could not afford it to fail.

OUR HERITAGE

AFS Global Defense operates as part of the international AFS Group, active since 2008 across international trade, health, defense, consultancy, and marine sectors, with a professional team carrying more than 30 years of experience in these fields.

That history matters in a practical way. CBRN defense is a small world, and the relationships that determine whether a manufacturer will build something specific for your requirement are the work of decades, not quarters.

OUR PARTNERS

We work with organizations that lead in their fields: PROENGIN in chemical and biological detection, Timilon in chemical neutralization, Ouvry in personal protection, ARDPI Air & Security in unmanned platforms, Milshel in deployable infrastructure, and gNext Labs in AI-driven inspection.

Each brings expertise we could not deliver alone. Together we build capabilities that no one of us would offer on its own.

WHAT WE'RE FOR

Our purpose is to save more lives, protect the health of more people, and give the authorities responsible for public safety the tools to act early rather than late.

Protecting the environment we live in and sustaining the resources we share matters as much to us as the incidents we help resolve. The point of detecting a chemical release quickly is not only the people it might have reached. It is also the air, the water, and the ground it would otherwise have entered.
